Pan-Mass Challenge

PMC 2025

2025 will be my third year riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge. This year, I will ride from Wellesley to Bourne on Day 1, and then from Bourne to Provincetown on Day 2, for a total of 162 miles across Massachusetts to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

I am honored to be part of Team Fr3dStrong, a team created by my dear friend Kelly in memory of her father, Fred. All funds raised through Team Fr3dStrong will support the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center Clinical Trials Fund at Dana Farber. Fred’s legacy will continue to inspire braverycourage, and hope in all of us.

My Why

To support researchers, oncologists, nurses, and care teams; for friends and families supporting their loved ones with cancer; for those courageously facing their battles against cancer; in honor of cancer survivors; and to remember those we’ve lost to this disease. To emphasize the strength found in camaraderie, hope, and doing good.

Origins of Do Good

For as long as I can remember, my grandpa’s parting words to me, my brother, and my cousins have always been: “Do Good.” To me, this phrase serves as a reminder, a call to action, and a vote of confidence for all of us to live out these words each day. “Do Good” truly encapsulates what the Pan-Mass Challenge is all about. It’s a day when riders, volunteers, and cheerleaders—made up of friends, family, and even total strangers—come together to “Do Good” by supporting a cause that advances cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
